About Dr. Austin

Stacey Austin, ND, has worked in health care since 1989. She has an M.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University in New York City.

In 2005 she completed her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona.

Dr. Austin completed a one-year residency in 2006 at an Internal Medicine practice in San Antonio, Texas.

She has been a certified yoga teacher since 1994 and specializes in therapeutic yoga.

Because the State of New Mexico does not currently license Doctors of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Austin maintains an active license in the State of Vermont. Education for Doctors of Naturopathic Medicine includes four years at an accredited educational institution that includes over 1000 hours of clinical training, state licensing in some states, national standards of practice, and a commitment to state-of-the-art scientific research.
